Dear Brothers,

I want to start by thanking all the BYKOTA brothers who help me put together the MM degree we did on Aug 28th. I am always astonished to see the

teamwork and dedication that we have when planning a degree.

A SPECIAL THANKS goes out to brothers E. Sprowl andW. Mantz of Lantana lodge #372 and bro B.Work of Boynton lodge #236, because without

their help we could not have done this degree with such short notice as we did. Thanks brothers for all the “masonic light” that you possess and shared

with us that fine day. Congratulations to the newly raised brothers of BYKOTA, Harrison Hudson and John Freibaum. It is great to see such enthusiasm

out of new masons. Keep up the great work and I will see you at the next meeting. I now want to congratulate bro Pat Busenberg of Sarasota Lodge.

It was our pleasure to help you and your lodge by having you partake in ourMMdegree. Good luck with all your future endeavors masonic or otherwise.

We had a good turnout at the last breakfast. Remember to tell your family and friends that the breakfast is only $5.00 all you can eat. See you at the

next one on Sept. 12th.

We are still doing Thursday 7pm practices for upcoming degrees. Come out and volunteer for a spot in the next degree. We have a Fellow Craft and

entered Apprentice degree to do soon. Dates to be determined.

BRETHERN OF THE LODGE – At the last meeting we voted to go dark on December 27th. Please make note of it.We also discussed the upcoming

50th Anniversary party. The decision has been made to do a steak dinner at our lodge. The tentative date has been set for Saturday, November 13th,

2010.Additional info about tickets, times, and dress to follow. Also on Saturday September 25th at 9 am there will be a “Masonic Leadership training”

class at the Scottish Rite bldg. It is designed forMasters and wardens so that they will be properly prepared for their upcoming years in the east. Please

make an effort to attend. Other lodge officers are allowed to attend as well.

Please open your wallets and check to see if your dues card is for 2010.At last count there are 25 Brothers that are carrying expired dues cards. On the

other hand; if a Brother has sent in his dues and has not received their dues card please contact the Lodge. Also if you can’t pay your Lodge dues due

to health or financial reasons give me a call. Brothers we have reached mid-year and the lodge rely’s on these dues payments to meet our ongoing
